Joshua Generation

Are you part of the Joshua Generation*?

Back in November 2012, we began a series of 11 blog posts about the characteristics of the Joshua Generation, a generation of forerunners who will enter into the promises of God and teach others to do the same.

Although we had relatively few readers at the time, those who did come across them seemed to find them particularly helpful. We thought it would be useful for new readers to have them all together in one place.

You should be able to click on Lessons from the Moses Generation, the first in the series, and then read them in order by following the ‘Next’ link at the top right of each post, but if not, the individual links are all listed below:

  1. Lessons from the Moses Generation
  2. A Generation of Forerunners
  3. Characteristics of the Joshua Generation (#1-5)
  4. Characteristics of the Joshua Generation (#6-10)

  30. I know in Psalm 24 it speaks about the Jacob generation; how does the Jacob generation relate to the Joshua generation, if at all? If it doesn’t, where does the Jacob generation come it? Some other blogs I’ve seen referenced Psalm 24 when speaking about the Joshua generation, so I feel a little bit confused.

  32. I am just feeling overwhelmed by what I do not know. I was in Africa and died of Malaria and God brought me back to life and Have been studying for the past 6 or 7 years while getting well.
HE now has ask me to start a prayer time for others to join me to bring Heaven to Earth that everything will be put under Gods feet and authority that HEAVEN can come to Earth and that HE can rule and reign. So what would you suggest that I get from you as to help me to what I have been ask to do by God?
